Yesterday I planed for Grade control to start drilling at D south pit in the morning. In the 8 o'clock meeting we; planning engineer, contractor, geos, agreeed that the excavator will mine till GC rig came then will make ramp for the rig.
After that contractor engineer came to ask geo for not drill today, wait till finish digging, incridible geo agree. They just didn't wanna pay stand by for rig if they not sure that contractor can make ramp for them they didn't want to take risk to wait.
Then contractor engineer inform our supervisor and the nhe cam to tell me. I asked geo why he was not in a good mood, he only want to make sure that he didn't gotta pay stand by.
I couldn't bear this they change a plan by themselve. They didn't even know how important that rig must drill as soon as possible if not excavator would stand by for a month! I inform my boss and guess he was really good he talked with geo manager so rig will came in at noon.
After 2 PM meeting I discussed about this with contractor engineer guess what he said
---Geos mine ore, Engineer mine waste
---Geos should talked to Engineer not him
I explained
---Geos drill but Eng know the sequence and plan
---Contractor should discuss with mining team
Great he seemed not to understand anything and I couldn't beat him so I wet to boss' room again. He went to talked with K' Mike right away and ensure me that contractor must talk with us.
